Mejoramiento de la calidad de atención en el área de Fisioterapia de la Fundación Hermano Miguel, Quito. 2013

Abstract

Abstract: The Fundación Hermano Miguel it is a non government organism that assists people with physical or functional disability with the objective of returning well-being to the patient, for that which has its service of physical medicine and rehabilitation, being its fundamental pillar of work, the prevention, the opportune diagnosis and the integral intervention, by means of physiotherapy activities, occupational therapy, and therapy of the language. By means of a situational diagnosis carried out with the technique of focal group, it was identified as main problem that the services lent in the area of physical medicine and rehabilitation, evidence a deficit of attention to their patients, what has caused that it deteriorates the quality of attention and dissatisfaction in the users. This intervention was executed thanks to the support and the directive, administrative and operative personnel's collaboration that he/she works in this service, by means of the application of processes dedicated to offer services of health with quality, and to change the negative perception that you/they have the users of the physiotherapy service, to optimize the resources and the time, increasing this way the covering of attention to rehabilitation.
