Abstract: This research is generated in response to the need for valuable information about the Ecuadorian poetry of Gustavo Alfredo Jacome, whose contribution to children's literature has been relevant in our country. The poems were chosen for their aesthetic quality; by the characteristics presented in its internal and external structure; by the selection of related interests of children as well as by frequent uses of language content. This analytic process allows us to understand how, through language, humans represents the world around him, thus participating in the construction of knowledge, achieving develop creativity and imagination. The analysis of the poetry of Jacome recognizes the harmony and tonality; for it involves the use of tropes and stylistic devices. The work is magical, with fantastic characters that gives savor the game onomatopoeia, with a playful language: lullabies, rounds, which amuse and stimulate the development of intelligence and speech. It is expected that the analysis of "Light and glass" allows the reader a better approach to work.
Description: Esta investigación se genera como respuesta a la necesidad de contar con información valiosa sobre la poesía ecuatoriana de Gustavo Alfredo Jácome, cuyo aporte a la literatura infantil ha sido relevante en nuestro país. Las poesías fueron elegidas por su calidad estética; por las características que presenta en su estructura interna y externa; por la selección de contenidos relacionados con los intereses de niños y niñas así como por usos frecuentes del lenguaje. Este proceso analítico permite comprender cómo, a través de la lengua, el ser humano representa el mundo que le rodea, participando así en la construcción del conocimiento, logrando desarrollar, la creatividad y la imaginación. El análisis de la poesía de Jácome reconoce la armonía y tonalidad; para ello recurre al uso de tropos o recursos estilísticos. La obra es mágica, con personajes fantásticos que proporciona saborear el juego de la onomatopeya, con un lenguaje lúdico: nanas, rondas, que divierten y estimulan el desarrollo de la inteligencia y el habla. Se espera que el análisis de Luz y cristal permita un mejor acercamiento del lector a la obra.
