La fauna simbólica en las obras: Historias de Dorado y Sebastián , El Grillito del Trigal y El libro del Ilaló de Hernán Rodríguez Castelo

Abstract

This research work pretends to analyze the existing symbolism inside the animal characters in the story tales “Historias de Dorado y Sebastián”, “El Grillito del Trigal” and “El libro del Ilaló” by ecuadorian writer Hernán Rodríguez Castelo. In order to achieve this symbol interpretation, I am going to use as a tool hermeneutics, due to the fact that among its purposes, hermeneutics aims to shed a light inside of that hidden in the text, so that through an intelligent analytical process, every reader should understand and to reinterpret the symbols that are present in the text. On one hand to discover the essence of what the author wants to convey with so much passion, such as the great aspects of human existence and the love for nature. On the other hand, to get to a second level, to count on what the story tells us, our own interpretation of the text, text-reader relationship. We should not stay on subjectivity but to approach inter subjectivity. We so refer to symbols that must be superficially revealed and interpreted to find sense as well as to contribute to form critical examination readers.
