Uso de la tradición oral en el relato Pequeña-Pequeñita y el cazador cazado de Francisco Delgado Santos

Abstract

Little-Little and the hunted-hunter is a story of Francisco Delgado Santos in which the elements of the oral tradition in the manner of a fairy tale are presented. Orality has allowed along the development of mankind to transmit know ledge in a fast and easy way. The message that is transmitted orally may take the form of stories, tales and songs. He possibility that a society may transmit knowledge and values is confirmed verbally, without a writing system... This research is important because it allows detailing the elements of oral tradition and its importance. This literary analysis was feasible because the story of Francisco Delgado Santos is part of the proposed along the Master‟s Degree Program in Children's and Youth‟s Literature studies. This study has allowed us to fulfill the objectives: what is orality?, detailing the elements of the oral tradition included in the story; and a description of narrative structure and the meaning of life that is projected in the story.
