Estudio de viabilidad y sostenibilidad técnica, de infraestructura y humana para la implementación del modelo de atención en telemedicina y tele-salud rural en la provincia de Zamora Chinchipe, durante el 2013

Abstract

This quantitative, descriptive and cross-sectional research was conducted with the aim of making a technological, physical and human diagnostics into four operating units of Nangaritza and Centinela cantons Condor in the province of Zamora Chinchipe to implement a model of care telemedicine and rural telehealth; the observation sheet in operational and surveys targeting health personnel and the population units were used, obtaining the following results: 25% of the operating units have the physical technical infrastructure and implementing a care model telemedicine and rural telehealth. It also has the necessary health personnel with sufficient knowledge in the management of information technology and communication. We conclude that under these circumstances it is possible to implement a model of care in rural telemedicine and telehealth in order to solve the problems of access to health services in remote sites.
