Los ecuatorianismos como elementos de identidad cultural y social en el ámbito educativo

Abstract

This research aims to identify the ecuatorianismos and its application in education. It focuses on the study of Ecuadorian culture to examine the use and meaning of terms, as well as the force in the country and their qualitative value in relation to the identity and representativeness of Ecuadorians. In Ecuador there is a cultural diversity; therefore it is important to determine whether the words used in the country are representative of their cultural identity and whether their use is for proper understanding among members of society. This research was conducted in the canton Puyango where contact was made with thirty people: fifteen with fifteen academic and professional title without title. The instrument applied was a survey structured in three parts and facilitated by the UTPL. The technique used was the interview. the empirical, statistical and qualitative analysis methods were used. Based on the research we conclude that most of the words are ecuatorianismos investigated albeit with varying degrees of effectiveness.
