Abstract

Abstract: This research work, entitled "management, leadership and values developed in the bilingual intercultural school "Porotoyacu" in the province of Napo, Archidona canton, Porotoyacu community, the 2012-2013 school year, had as its main objective "Identifying and issuing criteria that help to improve the quality of education in the educational institution". This research had as main aspect the Situational diagnosis of the educational unit, this tool was generated with the implementation of surveys and interviews with managers, teachers, students and parents to meet the performance criteria of the management, leadership and values of those who are part of the educational institution. As result of this research shows that it should improve internal communication and decision-making, in the part of leadership is acceptable by that not have been grouping the trilogy of teacher, student and parent, in addition has been identified that there is a low level of planning, mainly due to the low socialization of the new standards and formats for the authorities of the Ministry of education. Using these results it was considered timely to develop a proposal to improve to strengthen leadership and institutional management through the planning and administrative management with the practice of values in the Intercultural "Porotoyacu" technical college.
