Necesidades de formación de los docentes de bachillerato del Colegio Particular La Presentación del Cantón Quito, Provincia de Pichincha, período lectivo 2012-2013

Abstract

Abstract: The main goal of this work is to get to know the needs for training that the teachers of La Presentacion School may have. It is known that the high school teachers have to deal with teenagers and new society trends. That is why teachers must have continuous and permanent training courses. These courses must fulfill teachers' lacks of knowledge or experience according to our current needs. In the present research job it was necessary to carry out a survey as a tool to find out their needs for teaching training. This training is not a teacher's obligation or a student's right. It is something that lies under the real teacher's skin as part of him or her. The survey showed us reading comprehension as a tool to improve our skills to gain new knowledge so that students can be better learners. Society is facing continuous updates especially in the technological field and the only choice we have is to get adapted to these new changes so we can help our students to learn for and within these new challenges.
