Abstract: The Environmental interpretation, today, plays a very important role in educational activity, it is also a useful tool to explain to the visitor about protected areas and people learn about the conservation of natural and cultural resources in a practical way. The Podocarpus National Park is part of the National System of Protected Areas, is located in the provinces of Loja and Zamora Chinchipe, between the Amazon and the Andes, was created on December 12, 1982, through ministerial agreement No. 0398, is a Natural wonder located south of Ecuador. It is necessary to create an Environmental Interpretation program that serves to inculcate values and attitudes of respect for nature, to help the conservation of the PNP protected area in the canton Zamora, as well as to promote citizen participation in environmental issues and improve the relations between man and nature. In the National Park Podocarpus tourists both national and foreign can observe a beautiful landscape with an exuberant flora and fauna with unique species that offers this natural area
