| Abstract: | The present project evaluates the current management of solid waste in the Sozoranga cantonal head, which proposes to develop a comprehensive plan for the management and management of the same to contribute to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants. A diagnosis was made of the current system of waste management in order to determine the current problem through surveys, interviews and the characterization of solid waste to obtain generation per capita and composition of the same. With the results obtained, the integral solid waste plan is established through programs of: environmental education, segregation and storage, collection and transportation, and waste utilization; The same ones that will have activities to carry out and alternatives for a better waste management |
| Description: | El presente proyecto evalúa la gestión actual de residuos sólidos en la cabecera cantonal de Sozoranga, el cual propone elaborar un plan integral para el manejo y gestión de los mismos, que contribuye a mejorar la calidad de vida de los habitantes. Se realizó un diagnóstico del sistema actual de manejo de residuos con el fin de determinar la problemática actual mediante encuestas, entrevistas, visitas in situ y caracterización de residuos sólidos para obtener la generación per cápita y composición de los mismos. Con los resultados obtenidos se establece el plan de gestión integral de residuos sólidos mediante programas de: educación ambiental, segregación y almacenamiento, recolección y transporte, y aprovechamiento de residuos; los mismo que contarán con actividades a realizar y alternativas para una mejor gestión de residuos. |
