Estudio e implementación de herramienta colaborativa para múltiples usuarios con soporte de voz video y datos sobre internet

Abstract

The present project has been developed in the research line of telecommunications and has been based on the fact that currently cost savings by reducing displacements and downtime, coupled with improved decision making, is fundamental to the competitiveness of Organizations should be exploited by exploiting existing technology and even more so if access to it without the payment of licenses. This project involves the implementation of a server with a collaborative tool for multiple users with free distribution software that supports the transmission of video, voice and data with which it is possible to establish meetings or conferences with users located within the LAN of the UTPL And external to it. Users differentiated as presenter and attendees will be able to access via web without needing to install additional software, in addition this tool allows to establish sessions of Chat supported in networks IP, additionally both presenter of the meeting like the administrator of the server can adjust that meeting according to the requirements Of the users, with the service to be implemented, the exhibitor will be supported by different utilitarian tools such as Power Point presentations, PDF's among others, which can be exposed to all users involved in the meeting. The main advantage of the project execution is that more than being developed under free software is that users will have easy to make their videoconferences as well as to attend them since each of the partners can access it from their stations work.
