Diseño de un Sistema de Gestión Ambiental siguiendo los lineamientos de la ISO 14001:2004 para el Departamento de Gestión Ambiental del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado del cantón Pedernales, provincia de Manabí

Abstract

The present work aims to "Design an Environmental Management System following the guidelines established in ISO 14001:2004 for the Environmental Management Department of the Decentralized Autonomous Government of the Pedernales canton, province of Manabí." The study consisted in a first phase to carry out the survey of the information of each one of the units that conform GAD Pedernales, by means of a RAI. From the diagnosis made with the RAI, the need to implement the policy, records, plans, and programs was determined, so the design of the EMS was planned according to ISO 14001:2004, after which the system was socialized to all Personnel of the Municipal GAD of Pedernales, existing the commitment of the senior management for the implementation of the same one.
