Abstract: The present research work intends to investigate about the perception and opinion that have the citizens of Hispanic speech which they reside in the city of North Bergen, in the Hudson County of the state of New Jersey, within the United States of North America, about the socio-environmental reality of the community to which they belong. For the development of our investigation, firstly surveys to 381 Latin residents of the place were applied; soon these data were process in a platform of calculation for their later analysis and presentation of the results. Analyzing the results of our investigation it was determined that the Latin in spite of living in another country whose quality of life is different; they have perceptions and opinions that are rooted to the knowledge acquired from their countries of origin. The opinions spilled by the Latin are on subjects of environment, gender equality, quality of life and participation. As far as conservation one talk about all these subjects are of great interest and preoccupation for the Latinos, nevertheless as far as participation the Latin loses the interest. Therefore it is necessary to integrate to the Latin in this subject that concerns it
Description: El presente trabajo de investigación tiene por objeto indagar acerca de la percepción y opinión que tienen los ciudadanos de habla hispana que residen en la ciudad de North Bergen, en el condado Hudson del estado de New Jersey, dentro de los Estados Unidos de Norteamérica, sobre la realidad socioambiental de la comunidad a la que pertenecen. Para el desarrollo de nuestra investigación, primeramente se aplicaron encuestas a 381 latinos residentes del lugar; luego estos datos fueron procesados en una plataforma de cómputo para su posterior análisis y presentación de los resultados. Analizando los resultados de nuestra investigación se determinó que los latinos a pesar de vivir en otro país cuya calidad de vida es diferente; tienen percepciones y opiniones que están arraigados a los conocimientos adquiridos desde sus países de origen. Las opiniones vertidas por los latinos son sobre temas de ambiente, equidad de género, calidad de vida y participación. En cuanto a conservación se refiere todos estos temas son de gran interés y preocupación para los latinos, sin embargo en cuanto a participación el latino pierde el interés. Por lo tanto es necesario integrar al latino en este tema que lo atañe
