dc.description	El presente proyecto es la respuesta a la necesidad de conocer la percepción y opinión de los habitantes del Cantón Puerto Francisco de Orellana sobre su realidad socio ambiental. Con este estudio se pretende ilustrar brevemente el nivel de conocimiento y concientización de los habitantes del mencionado cantón, sobre su realidad frente a temas de: ambiente, equidad de género y calidad de vida. La metodología se basó en revisiones bibliográficas y la aplicación de encuestas a los habitantes del cantón. Con el análisis de los resultados se identificó que la mayoría de los pobladores del cantón Pto. Francisco de Orellana tienen estudios secundarios, sus ingresos familiares mensuales promedian entre 500 y 1000 dólares, un alto porcentaje no posee vivienda propia, no poseen los servicios básicos en su totalidad, el nivel de machismo en el sector es preocupante, entre otras cosas. Es indispensable prestar atención a la percepción de la población sobre su realidad, ya que las problemáticas ambientales pueden resultar en diferentes formas de conflictividad según el entorno socio económico y cultural local	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	The present project is the answer to the need to know the perception and opinion of the inhabitants of the Canton Puerto Francisco de Orellana on their socio-environmental reality. This study aims to briefly illustrate the level of awareness and awareness of the inhabitants of the canton, about their reality in relation to issues of: environment, gender equity and quality of life. The methodology was based on bibliographical reviews and the application of surveys to the inhabitants of the canton. With the analysis of the results it was identified that the majority of the inhabitants of the canton Pto. Francisco de Orellana have secondary studies, their monthly family income average between 500 and 1000 dollars, a high percentage does not own house, do not have the basic services in Its totality, the level of machismo in the sector is worrisome, among other things.
