| Abstract: | The main objective of this research is to contribute to the sustainable preservation of biodiversity and natural resources through the development of a conservation system for the Jipijapa canton of the Province of Manabí. To carry out this objective, the natural characteristics of the site were established, which were necessary to delimit the main areas of conservation, defining the representativeness of natural vegetation cover by the ecosystem in the protected areas found, plus the areas of importance for conservation Of the canton, additional proposals were established for new areas that contribute to the sustainability of the area. |
| Description: | Esta investigación posee como objetivo principal contribuir con la preservación sustentable de la biodiversidad y bienes naturales a través del desarrollo de un sistema de conservación para el cantón Jipijapa de la Provincia de Manabí. Para llevar a cabo este objetivo se establecieron las características naturales del lugar, las cuales eran necesarias para delimitar las áreas principales de conservación, definiendo la representatividad de cobertura vegetal natural por el ecosistema en las áreas protegidas encontradas, más las zonas de importancia para la conservación del cantón, adicional se establecieron propuesta de nuevas zonas que contribuyan con la sostenibilidad del área. |
