Diseño de un programa de interpretación ambiental para la reserva forestal senderos del parque Samanes (Guayaquil)

Abstract

Abstract: The development of this research focuses on the Environmental Interpretation Forest Reserve Parque Samanes Trails (dry tropical forest) in the city of Guayaquil with a total area of 130 hectares. To effect the collection of information from primary sources is done as Geo referencing of the area and important geographical points for the study, surveys of managers and users of the protected area, characterization of the area and users, verification of the attractions and their implications for the sustainable management of the protected area. The investigation determined first, that there is insufficient signposting in the total area of the Reserve, second, the lack of scientific information with translation into language easy to understand and certain technological tools that could be implemented as part of environmental interpretation. In addition to this, physical safety of cyclists in certain sections of the bikeway because of the soil structure, the inclination, the absence of a buffer zone in case of derailment, the non-presence of garbage collectors in the bikeway.
