Diseño de un Sistema de Gestión Ambiental basado en la Norma Internacional ISO 14001: 2004 para el Instituto Geográfico Militar, provincia de Pichincha

Abstract

This project contains the Design of an Environmental Management System under the standard ISO 14001: 2004 for the Instituto Geográfico Militar (IGM), Quito - Ecuador. To achieve the objectives of this proyect an initial environment review was carried out, in order to raise a base line,that allows the IGM to take the actions and necesary controls to achieve efficient productive processes and improve the services provided to the community, minimizing environment impacts. This system of enviroment management, try that the Institution, follow the guidelines of the international standard ISO 14001:2004, which lead to a respectful activity and friendly with the environment that allows a continuous development of activities and services it generates. The diagnosis made it possible to establish the policy, procedures, plans, programs and lists necessary for the design of the present SGA. Finally, the socialization of the system was carried out to all workers of the IGM, with the commitment of high managment for the implementation of this Project
