| Abstract: | In this work, a study of the production of coffe in the Chaguarpamba Town was carried out with the aim of analyzing the actors of the value chain, with the purpose of establishing improvement strategies by promoting competence, productivity and sustainibility. To develop this investigation a mixed methodology was applied, it is to say an investigative and descriptive study. The exploring method served us a base to apply the descriptive method. The exploring investigation let us familiarizing with the studied problem and select, adapt and improve the available resources and procedures to develop the investigation. The main objective the descriptive metodology is to colect data which describe the current situation of the coffee producers of the town just as it is today. The tools we used to get the primary information were: Surveys (producers of coffee,memebers of the APAACH association) an interview with the members of the board directors. What it is lookd for is to strengthen their relations with the purpose of all of them have the same benefit in the production and market the coffee. |
| Description: | En este trabajo de titulación se realizó un estudio de la producción de café en el cantón Chaguarpamba con el objetivo de analizar los actores de la cadena de valor con el fin de establecer estrategias de mejoras promoviendo: competitividad, productividad y sostenibilidad. Para el desarrollo de la presente investigación se utilizó la metodología mixta, es decir un estudio explorativo, descriptivo. El método explorativo nos sirvió como base para aplicar el método descriptivo, la investigación explorativa nos permitió familiarizarnos con el problema de estudio y seleccionar, adecuar y perfeccionar los recursos y los procedimientos disponibles para poder desarrollar la investigación. La metodología descriptiva el objetivo primordial es recolectar datos que describan la situación actual de los cafetaleros del cantón como tal y como es en la actualidad. Las herramientas que utilizamos para el levantamiento de la información primaria fueron: encuestas (caficultores de la zona, miembros de la asociación APAACH) entrevista con miembros de la directiva. Lo que se busca es fortalecer sus relaciones con el propósito de que todos tengan el mismo beneficio en la producción y comercialización del café |
