Construcción del índice de demanda laboral para la ciudad de Loja periodo 2012-2016

Abstract

The purpose of the research work is to calculate the labor demand index of Loja city within the period 2012 - 2016 to later analyze the evolution of the same in the corresponding period and the labor policies of the area. Based on the assumption that the IDL is an indicator in which labor market trends are reflected. The data have been collected from the classifieds of the main newspapers of the city; So that once calculated the index is compared with labor market indicators taken from the National Survey of Employment, Unemployment and Underemployment (ENEMDU), to carry out the calculation of the indicator uses the methodology based on different empirical evidence, mainly the city Of Salta in Argentina. With the result that the IDL of Loja has had a decreasing trend during this period due mainly to the lack of sources of employment and the constant growth of the labor force in the city as in the country.
