Abstract: This specialization end work summarizes the importance of the use of information and communication technologies in judicial field, specifically in criminal law, provided that they do not violate the rights and constitutional guarantees. Also discusses the cultural lack of technological application in the administrative institutional offices of the judicial function and the lack of incentive by the respective authorities. With better management of ICTs will optimize time and less paper consumption, be part of the digital age and signature, giving validity to the administrative acts in each of their skills in different areas of the judicial institution. Information and communication technologies in the judicial field play a key role in the early implementation of the process in each of the causes, there procedural Celerity and better flow of causes is their total execution, greater responsibility in each of the officials and demand such that all would be cutting edge technology in courts, judicial units, courts and rooms
Description: El presente trabajo de especialización sintetiza la importancia del uso de las TIC’s en ámbito judicial, concretamente en el derecho penal, siempre que no violen los derechos y garantías constitucionales. Además se analiza la ausencia cultural del uso tecnológico en las distintas oficinas institucionales administrativas de la función judicial y la falta de incentivo por parte de las autoridades respectivas a diferencia de la República de Polonia. Con un mejor manejo de TIC’s se optimizaría el tiempo y el menos consumo de papel, ser parte de la era digital y firma electrónica, dando valides a los actos administrativos realizados en cada una de sus competencias en las distintas áreas de la institución judicial. Las TIC’s en el ámbito jurisdiccional juegan un papel primordial en la pronta ejecución de todo el proceso judicial en cada una de las causas, su total ejecución hace que exista celeridad procesal y mejor flujo de causas, mayor responsabilidad en cada uno de los funcionarios y exigencia tal que todos sería de vanguardia tecnológica en juzgados, unidades judiciales, tribunales y salas del Ecuador.
