| Abstract: | The aim of this research work is to provide the community with a tool for strategic planning according to the needs and particularities of the canton Espíndola, which allows the development of sustainable tourism, directly affecting the improvement of the quality of life of the inhabitants. For the development of this strategic plan, a situational analysis was carried out first, and then the tourist potential of the canton Espíndola was established by determining the supply and demand, thus obtaining the profile of the tourist and zoning of attractions. Workshops were carried out to link with the community and obtain the existing problems from the first source. Moreover, as a final point, based on the information collected, the PEDTS was elaborated based on strategies and plans with their respective execution times that will serve to take advantage of the natural and cultural resources that the canton has. |
| Description: | El presente trabajo de investigación, tiene como finalidad el proporcionar a la colectividad una herramienta de planificación estratégica acorde a las necesidades y particularidades del territorio del cantón Espíndola, que permita el desarrollo turístico sostenible, afectando directamente al mejoramiento de la calidad de vida de los pobladores. Para la elaboración de este plan estratégico se realizó primeramente un análisis situacional, posteriormente se estableció el potencial turístico del cantón Espíndola mediante la determinación de la oferta y demanda, obteniendo así el perfil del turista y zonificación de atractivos. Se efectuó talleres de vinculación con la comunidad para obtener de primera fuente la problemática existente. Y, como punto final partiendo de la información recolectada se elaboró el PEDTS el cual consta de estrategias y planes con sus respectivos tiempos de ejecución que servirán para el aprovechamiento recursos naturales y culturales que posee el cantón |
