Description: Abstract:Currently, there are several programs for design of rigid pavement by the AASHTO 1998 method. The disadvantage of these is that they do not show what it does at each stage, this can complicate the calculation to inexperienced designers. For this reason, the need arises to develop a web application that allows the design of the thickness of the pavement and the calculation process can be observed. In this context, the objective of this work is to develop a software for the design of rigid pavements. To accomplish this, the variables involved in the AASHTO 1998 method were analyzed. Then the method described were analyzed with the help of an electronic sheet. Once the calculation process of the method was understood, the web application was designed using JavaScript and HTML. The result of this project is a software with academic and professional purposes that allows both students and professionals to design the thickness of the rigid pavement and at the same time know the calculation procedure in each of its stages.
