LTDA. con disfunciones Authors: Rodríguez Mejía, María Azucena Abstract: Abstract: Lumbopelvic dysfunctions are defined as a set of functional and biomechanical alterations that affect the interaction between the lumbar spine, the pelvis, and the myotendinous system. Various approaches have been used as part of the treatment, with physiotherapy being a fundamental component aimed at improving quality of life. Therefore, the following objective is proposed: to compare the clinical evolution and functionality of ECOLAC CIA. LTDA. employees with lumbopelvic dysfunctions treated with manual therapy, through functional, clinical, and quality of life evaluations; through a quasi-experimental study in 12 employees of the company ECOLAC CIA. LTDA., where in the first phase, initial evaluations were carried out using the visual analog scale for pain, the Oswestry Disability Index, and the iliac spine height test; subsequently, manual and conventional therapy were applied. The results showed a significant change in functional disability and pain intensity; in conclusion, manual therapy resulted in favorable changes in the clinical and functional variables of the workers at ECOLAC CIA.LTDA. Description: Resumen:Las disfunciones lumbo pélvicas se definen como un conjunto de alteraciones funcionales y biomecánicas que afectan la interacción entre la columna lumbar, la pelvis y el sistema miotendinoso. Diversos abordajes han sido utilizados como parte del tratamiento, siendo la fisioterapia un componente fundamental orientado a mejorar la calidad de vida, es por ello que se plantea el siguiente objetivo: comparar la evolución clínica y la funcionalidad de los trabajadores de ECOLAC CIA. LTDA. con disfunciones lumbo pélvicas tratados con terapia manual, por medio de evaluaciones funcionales, clínicas y de calidad de vida; mediante un estudió cuasi experimental en 12 trabajadores de la empresa ECOLAC CIA.LTDA., donde en una primera fase se efectuaron las evaluaciones iniciales mediante la escala visual análoga del dolor, índice de Oswestry y la prueba de la altura de las espinas iliacas, posteriormente se aplicó terapia manual y convencional.
