Implementación del Programa de Escuelas Promotoras de Salud en la Escuela Uruguay N.- 87;, cantón Espíndola, Loja 2014

Abstract

Abstract: This work program of action entitled HPS in the "URUGUAY N 87" School Canton Espindola, I realized the need to improve the quality of life of students, parents, teachers and the community in general and which was determined by the situational analysis that 75% of the population lacks education healthy lifestyles, as well as poor nutrition and poor medical and dental check-causing deficits in academic performance and health problems in general. Under this requirement is implemented and developed the Program Health Promoting Schools, through a qualitative and quantitative, and participatory action research. The intervener population were students at the School Uruguay, teachers and parents have a great support from the community and Amaluza Hospital. All information and data collected were made by direct observation, documentary, photographs, verbal interrogation and teamwork. The results of this project are designed to create, maintain and develop the active and voluntary participation of a multidisciplinary team whose aim is to achieve healthy lifestyles for good living.
