Abstract

Abstract: The research is entitled: "Reality pedagogical and curricular practice in the Education Unit Immaculate city of Cuenca, Azuay Province, during 2013-2014", overall objective: "Know the different pedagogical practices provide education and baccalaureate schools of our country, from teaching practice and institutional planning "; the investigative work methods were used: inductive, descriptive, analytic-synthetic, statistical and hermeneutic, which facilitated the development of the theoretical framework and systematization of information collected through the survey to 20 teachers and 40 students from the upper basic and school; with the results, it was found that the teaching model established by the educational unit investigated, is humanistic and at the same time is influenced by constructivism and critical pedagogy; but the pedagogical model that guides the educational offerings of the institution and the pedagogical model of teaching practice do not coincide so it is necessary to implement participatory methodological strategies and cooperatives that generate meaningful and productive learning from the students themselves.
