Empleo Femenino y su efecto sobre la distribución del ingreso familiar. Estudio de caso: Provincia de Loja, 2014

Abstract

This research has as main objective to determine the effect of female employment on the distribution of family income in the province of Loja in 2014. Starting mathematically inequality indices Gini and Theil, results expose the significant contribution of wages female the whole home, obtaining the index on two approaches: i) of total household income of 0.13 (Gini) and 0.031 (Theil), ii) and household income excluding women, noting that inequality increases by 0.14 (Gini) and 0.033 (Theil), thus corroborating the importance of women's contribution to balancing the income of Loja´s families.
