Abstract

The ethno-historical genre emerged in the early twentieth century in Mexico, which began to be used to relate the anthropological theories history data; Edna Iturralde, Ecuadorian writer of great rigor in the management of documentation, use this genre to exalt this land, it says what it is our essence, to show the world why the customs of the indigenous peoples, Afro-Ecuadorians and mestizos.
