| Abstract: | This project aims at characterizing the volume of vehicular traffic on the Loja - Catamayo Loja -Zamora using statistical methods. For the development of the project was carried out capacities through a pneumatic device for a period of one full week in each direction of the track in study and separately, it was subsequently determined the distribution and composition of the volume of vehicular traffic in each direction, obtaining parameters of variation hourly, daily, weekly and monthly traffic volume. In addition, we conducted a comparative analysis with the results obtained by the MTOPS by factoring in the main roads of the province of Loja in the year 2004, with which it is able to estimate the rate of traffic growth on the basis of information chronicles; and on the other hand was obtained the rate of growth in vehicular function of the growth of the fleet registered in the province of Loja. |
| Description: | Este proyecto tiene como objetivo caracterizar el volumen de tráfico vehicular en las vías Loja-Catamayo y Loja-Zamora mediante métodos estadísticos. Para el desarrollo del proyecto se realizó aforos a través de un dispositivo neumático por el lapso de una semana completa en cada sentido de la vía en estudio y por separado, posteriormente se determinó la distribución y composición del volumen de tránsito vehicular en cada sentido, obteniendo parámetros de variación horaria, diaria, semanal y mensual del volumen de tránsito. Adicionalmente se realizó un análisis comparativo con los resultados obtenidos por el MTOP mediante aforos en las principales vías de la provincia de Loja en el año 2004, con los cuales se pudo estimar la tasa de crecimiento vehicular en base a información historiada; y por otro lado se obtuvo la tasa de crecimiento vehicular en función del crecimiento del parque automotor registrado en la provincia de Loja. |
