Estudio de viabilidad y sostenibilidad técnica, de infraestructura y humano para la implementación de un modelo de atención en Telemedicina y Telesalud rural en la provincia de Zamora Chinchipe, durante el año 2013.

Abstract

The present research consists in a study of feasibility and sustainability from a technical, infrastructural and human perspective for the implementation of a telemedicine care model and rural telehealth in the province of Zamora Chinchipe. It was considered as an objective to conduct a diagnosis from a human and physical infrastructure point of view, technical and health needs of the community; this was a descriptive and retrospective study with a quantitative and cross-sectional approach focused in the operating hospital unit General Julius Doepfner located at Canton Zamora, Zamora Chinchipe; it was used observation records and surveys which were applied to both the operational units, and the personnel and population Zamora. The observation sheet was applied to the operating unit as well as ten health staff surveys and thirty surveys to the unit and community members respectively. As a result, regarding the physical and technical infrastructure and human aspect, they have the criteria for the implementation of the telemedicine project; which in turn solves the problems of access to health in remote sites.
