Abstract

The Plan of Sustainable Development Tourism for the canton Zapotillo is a significant importance tool that was developed in order to informing, valuing and conserving natural wealth. This method reveals to people and government agencies in the area the current reality of their canton. On the other hand there are certain projects to be developed with their respective priorities, prepared from the different needs presented a general level in Zapotillo and both natural and cultural resources, which are in urgent need to be improved and preserved. Applying this plan could be developed a sustainable tourism that will help the whole community, including public and private companies, with the implementation of new information technologies in tourism area, the development and capabilities of each one will make a joint development and therefore a global tourism growth
