Abstract

Abstract: Ecuador has established as one of its policies to promote tourism activity, which is why different programs and projects have been generated that diversify the tourism offer and at the same time increase the quality of the services provided by the country's tourism plant. Thus, in order to involve the Community Tourism Centers promoted by the Decentralized Autonomous Government of the Province of Sucumbíos at competitive levels that guarantee the market positioning of their products, this Quality Management System was designed. The QMS is based on the verification standard for tourism services 2.0, used for the issuance of quality certification in sustainable management for Community Tourism Centers, granted by the Rainforest Alliance. The standard considers guidelines and processes according to the reality of the CTC, within the framework of the areas: business, socio-cultural and environmental; axes of sustainability.
