Diseño e implementación del Sistema de Gestión Vehicular para el Gobierno Provincial de Loja

Abstract

Abstract: This final degree project describes the analysis of the tools and technologies necessary for the design and development of a Web System. The current problem that the Department of Vehicle Management of the Provincial Government of Loja has, an Institution that does not have a reliable record of the correct use of its vehicles and relevant information about them, was identified. Based on the problem, it was proposed to develop software to systematize the process that the Institution carries out for the control of the vehicle fleet, maintenance and fuel dispatch when carrying out an assigned activity. The RUP software methodology was used, complying with the deliverables in each phase. A system was implemented, which generated important information for making decisions in accordance with the new vehicle control regulation. In addition to providing a record of the fuel consumption control of each vehicle and kilometers traveled on each assigned route. Likewise, it presents notifications of vehicles that need to perform corrective maintenance, registration expiration dates for each vehicle.
