Abstract: The notification process constitutes a fundamental and important activity for the Internal Revenue Service, one of the problems that the SRI currently has as an institution is the large number of taxpayers that are managed and that are not located due to the lack of culture of taxpayers to update RUC information. The Provincial Directorate of Pastaza of the SRI was assigned as a collection goal for the year 2014 $13,954,659.87 dollars, collection that is done voluntarily and forcibly, with control mechanisms for taxpayers to comply with the requirements. tax obligations through the notification of administrative and simple administration acts, which is why a strengthening of the notification process is proposed for the improvement and fulfillment of management goals and indicators assigned to the Provincial Secretariat. This work aims to improve the notification process, detect the inconveniences that are reflected, which will help improve the levels of voluntary and forced collection, in addition to complying with the management indicators assigned to the Provincial Secretariat.
