dc.description	Resumen:En el presente trabajo se realizó un estudio de las principales teorías y trabajos sobre migración, posteriormente se analizaron las principales estadísticas y los determinantes de la migración internacional en Ecuador, siendo el objetivo principal el analizar como las diferentes variables macroeconómicas afectan al stock emigratorio ecuatoriano, para lo cual, se aplicaron dos modelos econométricos que utilizan información de los censos 2001 y 2010. Los principales resultados obtenidos son que el PIB per cápita, la población, el idioma, la historia de relación colonial, en el país de destino afectan positivamente al stock emigratorio ecuatoriano. Mientras la distancia física afecta negativamente al stock emigratorio.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Abstract:In the present work it was made a study of the main theories and researches of migration, subsequently the main statistics and the determinants of international migration in Ecuador were analyzed, being the purpose of this work the analyses of how different macroeconomic variables affect the Ecuadorian emigration stock. Two econometric models were applied using information from the Census 2001 and 2010. The main findings of this work were than GDP per capita, population, common language, historical colonial relationship, on the destination affect positively the Ecuadorian emigration stocks. While physical distance shown negative effect on the emigration stock.	es_ES
