Abstract:One of the best tracks on general culture must be a citizen is to know the true story of the beginning of their land where he was born, and this is precisely the purpose of this work entitled The worldview of Canton Bolívar in the traveler a work On the centenary of the author Ovid Velasquez Alchundia in which narrates the events of the historical beginnings of Canton Bolivar. The construction process it developed in two aspects, the first focused on the story of people who have been witnesses and protagonists of these facts and partly supported by bibliographic documents lie in the hands of some institutions and famous people of this county. The analysis of each of the topics discussed in the book help to discern whether they are myths, legends and realities each of the topics discussed. Finally the work is intended to make a historical legacy to future generations own and foreign to investigate and determine the importance of understanding the roots of its people and its population.
