Abstract

Abstract:Modernity is the most consistent periods in the architecture's history; its main concern has to search for solutions to the problems and needs of man during the various stages of his life, from a simple action as the "live" until a broad overview that includes the "city". In this purpose, this study finds to express mindfulness visual and formal which develops the modern and contemporary architectural project. The research includes two parts: theory and diagnostic. First, contains the historical review throughout the twentieth century, it is a period from modernity until the present contemporary architecture. Next, explains the modern conception of the place and the space, as a way of essential the architectural formality in a sense the order of things. Finally six references projects are analyzed, with the purpose of discovering the intentions and decisions of the architects in the process of design and construction of these projects.
