Abstract

Abstract:In the present investigation an analysis of domestic violence and its influence in teenagers from 12 to 17 years old in the community of Canchagua in 2011-2013 is performed, from a study of 100 teenagers who have had problems of physical aggression, psychological abuse from other members of their families, what affects the development and growing of the personality of the teenagers. The different types of violence where analysed and what are the main causes that generates it. One of the main causes is the lack of communication, values, principles and the understanding from parents to children. The results obtained in this research determinates that in the community of Canchagua there are teenagers with problems of domestic violence therefore the need arises of starting a prevention program focused in parents and teenagers through a training for all of the community actors with the intervention of the different social groups, and so demonstrate that in the indigenous group this problem is stronger because of their life conditions.
