Abstract

Abstract: The project, entitled "Financial evaluation of Health Center No. 3 from District 18D02-2014" was performed in 2015. The objectives of having health services costed, medical services planned and financial management strategies formulated were met. The method used consisted on the revision of documents registered in RDACAA, the identification of cost centers and resources for its financing. The intervention was done in three stages: Researching the cost information of Center No. 3 by reviewing service reports, production and finance resources and by using matrixes designed for this purpose. Inputting the information in Winsig to generate management charts that reflect the costs of Center No. 3. The economic analysis was performed, compared to the national rate system and establishing a balance point, thus, determining financial sustainability. Formulating strategies that would allow Center No. 3 and the district to achieve management sustainability, and presenting results and conclusions.
