Alternativa de refugio temporal para grupos romeriantes, caso de estudio: permanencia de la imagen de la virgen de El Cisne en la ciudad de Loja.

Abstract

Year after year, due to the pilgrimage of the image of the Virgin of El Cisne, hundreds of romeriantes visit Loja city, the same as in the absence of the necessary financial resources to stay in hotels or hostels,they have had the need to stay overnight in the city parks; before this, Loja´s Decentralized Goverment awarded annually and during the visit of the romeriantes, various educational institutions function as shelters for them. Unfortunately these shelters can not accommodate the significant number of people coming to the city at this time, and many of them decide to spend the night at the Simon Bolivar Park, which is traditionally preferred by romeriantes place. That is why this paper's main objective is to provide an alternative temporary shelter for romeriantes to whom is not possible to obtain asylum in educational institutions, it will be based on the design of a separate mobile module that covers the needs and the basic concepts which rest under sheltering and transformable architecture
