Intervención urbano arquitectónica en el edificio del Gobierno Municipal del Cantón Celica

Abstract

Abstract: The architectural urban project raised then proposes a new building for the decentralized autonomous government of the canton Celica integrated into their immediate environment. It is a response to the problems identified in the functional and spatial aspect in the institution, since the current building does not meet the required fields for what is considered a new structure. Based on the functional organizational scheme of the institution, programming is developed and a new functional structure for the proposal is determined, nesting spaces according to their use and accessibility level. The architectural project is developed in two blocks connected by a central atrium, this response to the geometry of the site. An atrium as an organizer. The flexibility of architectural plants is very relevant considering the further use that may be required. The use of industry porticoes respond not only to a formal language but constructive realization of the project. Finally, the building is integrated into a central square developed as a place of interaction by improving streets and pedestrian corridors proposed creating harmony in the environment.
