Abstract

Abstract: In recent years, health care has been a priority in the administrative field of the Ecuadorian state, increasing the annual budget substantially, in order to provide quality care and warmth to all citizens, giving priority to the most vulnerable groups our country. There is a great influx of population to the operational units being this budget limited, so a financial study on investment and short was performed in the operating units Las Mercedes, Libertad del Toachi, San Vicente del Nila, belonging to the District D2301, Zone 4. This financial evaluation of the budget allocated to labor, supplies expenses, use of goods and furniture, spending on medicines and supplies, and the services provided by the unit to users during 2014 was analyzed. In order to improve the rational and equitable use of resources to provide health care quality, effectiveness and efficiency. Despite limitations and difficulties found in the collection of information. For data analysis the WINSIG program of the World Health Organization, the same which allowed us to obtain the real values of each service provided to the population unit was applied. Getting a positive balance Las Mercedes with 20.62%, Libertad of Toachi with 1,01%, San Vicente del Nila with 47.3% showing that the units operate profitably.
