| dc.description | La presente investigación propone calcular un Indicador Sintético de Medio Ambiente (ISMA), que refleje el comportamiento ambiental de los hogares del cantón Loja en el año 2014. La metodología utilizada se divide en tres etapas, en la primera se normalizó las seis dimensiones de prácticas ambientales, en la segunda se ponderó las dimensiones a través del método Delphi y finalmente se realizó el cálculo del indicador de cada una de las dimensiones y el ISMA. Los resultados obtenidos permiten concluir que las prácticas ambientales que realizan los hogares lojanos en su diario vivir son adecuadas para el medio ambiente, el mismo que se refleja por un ISMA de nivel medio. Las dimensiones que tienen mayor aporte son el ahorro de agua, energía, eliminación de residuos habituales y actitud medioambiental, a diferencia de la eliminación de residuos ocasionales y transporte y movilidad, los cuales presentan valores no aceptables. Ante esta situación se recomienda llevar a cabo campañas informativas sobre el daño que causan los desechos peligrosos al medio ambiente, así como implementar contenedores específicos para este tipo de desechos, entre otras. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | This research proposes to calculate a Synthetic Environmental Indicator (ISMA), which reflects the environmental behavior from households of canton of Loja in 2014. The methods applied are divided in three steps, in the first six dimensions of environmental practices normalized in the second dimension it was weighted through Delphi method and finally calculating the indicator of each of the dimensions and the ISMA performed. The results show that environmental practices which households in Loja carry out in their daily lives are suitable for environment, which is reflected about a ISMA of intermediate level. The high dimensions are saving water, energy, common waste disposal and environmental attitude; unlike of occasional waste elimination and transportation and mobility, which present not acceptable values. In this situation it is recommended to carry out information campaigns about the damage that dangerous waste cause; and to implement specific containers for this type of waste, among others. | es_ES |
