Los ecuatorianismos como elementos de identidad cultural y social en el ámbito educativo

Abstract

Abstract: This research work related to ecuatorianismos as elements of cultural and social identity in education in the country, focuses on the study of culture analyzing the use, significance and validity of the Ecuadorian words as a reference for national identity and representation. Thus, the present research is oriented towards the study of ecuatorianismos as part of the national cultural plurality, in order to demonstrate whether the terms used in the country are characteristic or not and whether they are part of their cultural identity. It also aims to identify the words used in Ecuador with its meaning for use in education. We surveyed 30 people Alamor, half professionals with non-professional academic degree and half in the age range between 18 and 67 years. The methodology, framed in goals, has mixed approach: quantitative and qualitative, and the instrument used is a survey. At the end of investigation concluded that many terms are often used are representative and are valid while others are disappearing or are replaced.
