Estudio de la realidad turística, cultural, social y económica del barrio “La Mariscal,” de la ciudad de Quito 2012 – 2015

Abstract

This work reaches the aspirations and objectives conceived in the first instance as a proposal that would gather all the potentialities and edges of this important tourist activity, source of work for many people, municipality and central government. At first, I thought it could be manageable; However, has not been easy. I have enriched myself with knowledge, practices and realities that has to do with the administration and relationship with the control entities of the municipality and the executive branch, acquiring practice and experience in the field of events. It highlights the qualities of this important sector of La Mariscal, the same ones that must be cared for and repowered, as national and foreign tourists appreciate and visit this neighborhood as one of their main travel destinations. Evidence of the highest concern of tourism entrepreneurs, which is the offer of quality services or business with all the permits and improvement of security. On the part of residents and other actors, there is no noise, scandals and insecurity, due to the thousands of visitors that receive this sector on a daily basis.
