Abstract

The end of the present investigation is to analyze the problem of habitability in the public space of the city of Port brown Baquerizo, but for he/she leaves it of the theoretical analysis of the public space and all that carries it: type, components, and the calculation of habitability. Later to that he/she is carried out the analysis of the city in mention, describing their importance like capital of the islands and port parish; but to know the current state of the public space of this city closely, he/she thinks about the calculation of indicators of habitability, same that go us they go us to help to measure so much in a quantitative way as qualitative the Public Space.

That that in yes it is wanted, it is to make of Port Baquerizo Moreno a more integrated and connected city, not alone at global level but also to different scales, being the public space who energizes the city, return the collective life and he/she believes urban life; that is not recognized alone to be a center of conservation of endemic life but a city that achieves a correct duality between urban life and natural life.
