Análisis de estabilidad y diseño de obras estructurales del sitio de implantación de la cámara de rotura número 1 ubicado en la abscisa 11+613 de la línea de conducción de agua cruda del Plan Maestro de agua potable de la ciudad de Loja

Abstract

The present investigation was directed to the accomplishment of a geological-geotechnical study in the site of implantation of the rupture chamber No. 1 located in the abscissa 11 + 613 of the line of conduction of raw water of the Master Plan of Drinking Water for the City of Loja. The purpose of this research was to know the physicomechanical characteristics of the soil that forms the area of ​​implantation of the civil works described above, with these results we proceed to make the necessary calculations to know if the sector is stable or unstable, and to provide the necessary solutions to stabilize The area and ensure the normal operation of the rupture chamber and the line of conduction. To get an idea of ​​the possible causes of instability of the sector, we proceeded to compile all the existing information of the zone and to know the antecedents of the place. Within the study, a field visit was carried out with which we could identify that in the site of foundation of the rupture chamber there are two poblems that put at risk the stability of the zone; Also this visit, we were able to determine the necessary tests to know the causes of the problems and to give the possible solutions.
