Abstract

At present, information security is a priority in organizations, especially when they share resources over the Internet. In order to guarantee this security, joint efforts have developed standards and protocols that allow the transmission of data securely through the Internet, among them we can mention: Secure HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTPS), Socket Security Layer (SSL), Security Shell SSH), among others. However, the increase in users has forced organizations to expand access to their resources from anywhere outside their organization, so, to meet this need arise Virtual Private Networks (VPN Virtual Network - VPN ). Despite the benefits offered by VPNs, users have not been able to take full advantage of their large benefits due to the difficulty of accessing them and the lack of knowledge of the resources to which they have access.
