The integral concept of accessibility makes it clear that it must be considered as a quality of the environment and should not be analyzed in a segregated way, but in the global environment and its interactions. From this integral conception of the urban environment, the physical environment becomes a factor and essential element that facilitates and facilitates mobility, sensory communication and accessibility. Our work consists of two parts: - The first part is the chart to design without barriers in Higher Education Centers is constituted in a general guide to guide the designer in aspects that are often overlooked, the least That seem, but nevertheless, influence the integral design, and not having been considered can cause us to not meet the needs of the end user, mainly in terms of accessibility and barrier removal. Basically, the paper is developed in three stages: As a starting point we have the conceptual framework that includes the baseline, secondly, the parameters of optimization of space in the Higher Education Centers are proposed and finally concludes with a schematic application of the Optimization of space in Higher Education Centers. We do not want the guide to be a straitjacket, rather it is a small accessibility recommendation. To be taken into account in the final decision of the designer. - The second part proposes a practical intervention solution in the area of accessibility with the Adaptation of the Basic Areas of the Campus of the UTPL for the accessibility of people with disabilities. Starting from the analysis of the site, the population to serve, and the appreciation for the future, we arrive at the establishment of a proposal according to the situation presented and the environment in which we are.es_ES
