Utilización de geosintéticos para el mejoramiento de la vía la Y de Shucos captación Los Leones del plan maestro de agua potable de la ciudad de Loja

Abstract

Abstract: The local road "Y de Shucos - Los Leones catchment", which is the only vehicle access route to the Los Leones catchment, is in poor condition. Therefore, it needs to be rehabilitated and improved, to guarantee the maintenance of the conduction line and the catchment. The poor condition of the road is due to several factors such as: continuous rain, lack of drainage and maintenance works by the entities in charge. This has caused deterioration of the rolling surface, overflowing of streams, collapses on the road and damage to the driving line. The present investigation proposes to analyze the feasibility of the use of geo-synthetics in drainage works, improvement of the base and retaining walls, in the section of road "Y de Shucos - Los Leones catchment". The development of this project will be along the following general lines: in the chapter 2 describes the current conditions of the road, in chapter 3 different types of geosynthetics are detailed with their properties, c (classification and functions, in chapters 4, 5, 6 and 7 the designs are made to rehabilitate and improve the road. . First, the design will be carried out with geosynthetics, and then proceed to design using conventional methods, then a comparative cost analysis will be carried out between the two alternatives.
