Abstract

The Technical University of Loja, permanent manager of the integral formation of the students, together with the School of Civil Engineering, decided to carry out a project of academic research of great importance and enormous importance in the educational field, whose subject was aimed at the " Study and verification of the hydraulic analysis, improvement and updating of the practices of operation, control and maintenance of the Shucos-Carigan pipeline and of the automated water treatment plant "and whose research was carried out in the present thesis project, obtaining both results and Information for the benefit of our community. Within the investigation, the main constituent parts of this system were tested, such as the "Shucos-Carigan" adduction and the "Carigan" water treatment plant. These components of the system are of great importance for the water supply in our city. The research does not focus on a single topic but encompasses quality information for a better understanding of the functioning of the whole system. And the most important thing is that you can check its performance and actual performance. We can say that the investment made is fully justified. According to the content, the present study is divided into five chapters and a manual that are structured.
